See your past APITube orders in the dashboard and download invoices from the LemonSqueezy customer portal

Where to find your invoices and billing history

Your APITube billing history lives on the Subscription page in your dashboard — a table of your recent orders showing the date, description, amount and status of each payment. To download an actual invoice or receipt, or to update your payment method, use the Manage billing button on that same page: it opens the LemonSqueezy customer portal, since LemonSqueezy is the payment provider that processes APITube subscriptions and top-ups. Billing is tied to the workspace owner, so only the owner sees these details.

Where is my billing history in the dashboard?

Open the Subscription page in your APITube dashboard. Below the Current plan card you will find a Billing history table with four columns:

  • Date — when the order was created.
  • Description — what the order was for (the product name, such as your plan or a pay-as-you-go top-up).
  • Amount — the charge, shown in US dollars (for example, $99).
  • Status — the state of the payment, shown as a coloured badge.

The table lists your 25 most recent orders, newest first, and covers both subscription payments and pay-as-you-go top-ups — each top-up is an order and appears as its own row. If you have never paid — for example on the Free plan — the table shows “No billing history yet” instead.

Where do I download invoices and receipts?

The dashboard table is a summary of your orders; the downloadable invoices, receipts and payment-method settings live in the LemonSqueezy customer portal. On the Subscription page, click Manage billing. APITube looks up your subscription and redirects you to LemonSqueezy’s customer portal for that subscription, where you can download past invoices and receipts and update the card on file.

Manage billing only works when you have an active paid subscription. On the Free plan — or before any subscription exists — there is no portal to open, so the button is not shown. To start a subscription and unlock invoices, pick a paid plan (see which APITube plan is right for me).

What do the billing statuses mean?

Each row in Billing history carries a status badge that tells you where the payment stands:

  • Completed / Paid (green) — the payment went through successfully; this is what you see for a normal, settled order.
  • Pending (amber) — the payment is still being processed and has not settled yet.
  • Cancelled / Failed (red) — the order did not complete, either because it was cancelled or the charge failed.

A green badge is the one to look for on a paid plan or a top-up. If a charge sits on Pending for a long time or shows Failed, open Manage billing to check the card on file in the LemonSqueezy portal.

Why can’t I see billing history or invoices?

Two things gate access to billing:

  • You are not the workspace owner. In a shared workspace, quota, subscription and billing all belong to the owner. If you are a member, admin or viewer, the Subscription page shows “Billing is managed by the workspace owner” and hides the history and buttons. Ask the owner for a copy of an invoice, or switch to your own personal workspace to see your own billing.
  • You have no paid orders yet. On the Free plan there are no orders, so the history is empty and there is no customer portal. Both the history rows and the Manage billing button appear only once you have subscribed or topped up.

The APITube dashboard reads your plan and orders from the account database, but every billing action — checkout, top-up, cancellation and invoice download — happens in LemonSqueezy. So the dashboard is where you see your billing, and the LemonSqueezy customer portal (reached via Manage billing) is where you manage it.

Common Questions

How many orders does billing history show?

The Billing history table on the Subscription page shows your 25 most recent orders, with the newest at the top. Each row is a single order — a plan payment or a pay-as-you-go top-up — with its date, description, amount and status.

Can I get a PDF invoice?

Yes. The dashboard shows the summary; the downloadable invoice or receipt is in the LemonSqueezy customer portal. Click Manage billing on the Subscription page to open the portal for your subscription, then download the invoice or receipt for the order you need. This requires an active paid subscription.

Why is the Manage billing button missing?

Because it appears only when you have an active paid subscription and you are the workspace owner. On the Free plan there is no subscription to manage, so no portal exists. As a non-owner member, billing is handled by the owner, and the Subscription page tells you so instead of showing the button.

Do pay-as-you-go top-ups show up in billing history?

Yes. A pay-as-you-go top-up is recorded as an order, so it appears in the Billing history table as its own row alongside your subscription payments, with its own amount and status.
